Networking Event: Business Opportunities in Tourism in East Africa

PROJECT COMPLETED

On behalf of the German Federal Ministry of Economy and Climate Protection (BMWK) Bondacon International organized an information trip for East African tourism industry companies and tourism associations to Germany

This project was a cooperation with the AHK for Eastern Africa (AHK Kenya), the German Travel Association (DRV) as well as the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Südliches und Östliches Afrika e.V. (ASA).

Within this framework, we organized a networking and information event for German and East African companies in the tourism industry on the topic of "Business Opportunities and Cooperation Opportunities in East Africa".

The event took place at ITB 2023 Berlin on 08 March 2023 from 10:30 - 12:00.

25 high-ranking representatives of companies and associations from Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Uganda and Ethiopia are participated in the event.

​

In addition to expert presentations, the event offered space for personal networking between German and East African tourism companies and association representatives. The number of 60 attendees shows the full success of the event.

This event was aimed at:
- Providers of tourism services
- Tour providers, tour operators, travel agencies
- Business Travel / MICE
- associations, federations, institutions
